• Eric Castro: Your show in Petersburg was fantastic. We had no idea what to expect and then you exceeded all possible expectations. I loved the huskiness of Alexa's ponky, soul-filled voice; the energy and beats of goofy, fun-loving Sacha; Andrina's skill with the chords and the little bit of hip-hop flair thrown in! I also dug Annik's intellegent and gorgeous lyrics and Ariane's hair-raising, opera-like performance (ever seen the movie, "5th Element?" I pictured Ariane in place of the tall, blue alien with the beautiful voice). My friends and I were excited to get you all to come out to the Harbor with us until Cindy L. spoiled our fun and made you guys get back to work. :) We didn't want the show/ experience to end! My major regret is that I didn't attend the workshop you put on- Ashley (the nacho maker!) said it was awesome and a great opportunity to see each of your individual personalities. Peter...
• James Deckert: I saw Chic Gamine at the Smoky Hill River Festival 3 months ago. I took lots of pics and have composed a drawing of the group. Sacha: I showed you my portfolio at the CD booth and told you I was wanting to do a drawing. I just didn't plan on it taking this long. • Jaclyn: OMG I LOVE YOU!!! I first heard you in 2008 at the Mission Folk Music Fest in BC, I went right to the media tent to buy your CD and I have been infatuated ever since. I force feed your music to ALL of my friends and I was SO happy when you won the Juno! I heard I Don't Lie on CBC on the way to work one morning and I screamed in the car. I especially love the hidden track at the end of Sunny Sunday, it cracks me up every time.
