Naturally, i listened to the entire CD. fell in love and started spreading the love that is Chic Gamine :) In a strage way I feel like we (Annick and I) are family. Odd I know, but still. The First time i heard you guys play was at Festival last year (2009) and I could not have enjoyed myself more, than i did at your concert, the eve of my 18th birthday. Thanks again guys. - Deidre: Oy! My mother and I seen you guys perform in Parry Sound at the Stockey Centre 2 summers ago...and we both looved you guys. She wanted to buy your guys CD, but you didnt have one at the time...she's pretty much been looking everywhere for it. So I told her I'd just find your website and ask you guys....where can we buy the CD?...
- Jamil: Here's my story... I heard "I don't lie" yesterday on CBC radio and jotted the venue and a very embarassing spelling on the group's name (Sheek Gameen). I spent the evening trying to find the song by googling them and finally found it. The radio show host mentioned they were playing at Ironwood in Calgary and I couldn't make it so I stopped by and paid the bartender to get me a CD when they got off stage. I find it difficult to describe my taste in music. I tend to flirt with various genres looking for "pain" and "authencity" in music. I heard you guys sing and the harmonies blew me away. I learnt "I don't lie" on guitar after listening to it a few times and the chords are just beautiful. I even posted up the gig on www.beyond.ca (a calgary car forum), my BBM and my facebook. My only regret was that I didn't get my CD signed because when I went to pick it up, they were having a late din...

- Guy Deschênes: Hello, Just heard another of your songs on CBC Radio 2 and loved it. I went to check out upcoming tour dates on your website and was extremely disappointed that Québec City wasn't on the list. Please remedy this situation as soon as possible...I don't think I can wait too long before seeing you live. Hope you can wing it somehow. Le Festival d'Été de Québec would be an ideal venue. There is also le Petit Champlain, or L'Anglicane in Lévis, or la Salle Octave-Crémazie au Grand Théâtre de Québec...ou encore le Palais Montcalm....

- Lisa: Hi from Stoney Creek, Ontario! I happened to be listening to CBC radio2 one afternoon, I can't recall what program it was, but I heard a song, the name of which I later learned was "I Don't Lie", that completely captured my attention, it's awesome! What a fantastic song, I love it! Sadly though, it's the only song of yours that I've heard thus far, I am so hoping to get your cd at some point, I'd also love to see you play live too, providing of course that you will be playing in Ontario, preferrably in the Toronto-Hamilton area...Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I am intrigued & looking forward to more! :-D...
